Quire, Jr Bishop of the Liberia Conference on Tuesday, September 26 from 6:30-8pm at Northlawn UMC (1157 Northlawn NE, Grand Rapids, 49505). Bishop Quire will talk about his priorities for Liberia, with a question and answer session to follow.

Bishop Quire will speak about his priority areas for the Liberia episcopacy for the current quadrennial, 2017 – 2020. The plan was developed by a strategic planning committee after these questions were asked at the 184th Session of the Liberia Annual Conference:

  • Where do we want to go as a Church?
  • How do we get there as a Church?

The Detroit Conference has been in a covenant relationship since 1997 with the Liberia Conference, and this covenant will continue in the new Michigan Conference. Questions? Please contact the GR District Office or 616.459.4503 x-1211.
