“Gearing Ministry for Your Mission Field” with Beth Ann Estock

Where are all the young people and why aren’t they in our churches? We will explore several cultural shifts that have significant implications for ministry in the 21st century as well as look at examples of innovative churches springing up all over the country. Then we will have an opportunity to work in teams to develop experiments to reach folks in our current mission field.

Beth is a coach and consultant at Epicenter Group specializing in the NONE and DONE zones of the USA. Beth was raised on the shores of Lake Erie in Northeast Ohio. Her pastoral work began in the Atlanta area but shifted to the Pacific Northwest two decades ago. During her Oregon years, Beth has served as a pastor in conventional churches as well as house churches and served as Director of New Faith Communities for the Oregon-Idaho Conference of The United Methodist Church.

Beth coaches leaders and churches with a no-nonsense approach to facing the current cultural realities while also seeking faithfulness to Christian faith traditions. Her approach is steeped in contemplative practices that help to give shape to innovation.

REACH OUT Network Group – Starting New Worship Service

If God is pointing you to start a new worship service this might be what you are looking for.

This launch process has been created to help the pastor and their team think through all the variables of launching a new worship service. If your vision is to reach the de-churched or unchurched for Christ then this is what you have been waiting for!

This training is not a cookie-cutter approach to launching a new worship service. During our time together we will challenge your team with questions throughout our training to help you think contextually about your particular situation. We treat each church individually through individualized coaching and questions found throughout our training. We will walk with you as you develop a detailed launch plan that is being simultaneously put into action. The cost is just $375 for the whole team; which includes the training, coaching and we provide lunch!

Typically (but not always!) this 2015-2016 training would prepare a church to launch a new worshiping community in October of 2016.

Please come and join us on this incredible journey to reach new people for Christ!

We kick off each of the Network Group training’s with a conference call with the pastor.
