MI Area Order of Elders Day with the Bishop

Our focus will be on the covenant of the Order of Elders as we grow in relationship with Bishop Bard and one another throughout Michigan. We will have time in worship and prayer, learning and inspiration, connecting and looking forward. The Order of Elders can be an important part of our covenant relationship. We want all Elders to feel included in the planning for future events and gatherings.

Lunch will be provided. Please note any dietary restrictions through registration.

Parking at Midland First UMC will be off-site. Shuttles will transport participants from the parking lot to the church.

Instructions will go out to all participants a week before the event.

The deadline for registration is April 17, 2017, the day after Easter.

The Order of Elders Day with the Bishop is not a mandatory called clergy session, however, your presence is valuable and greatly appreciated. All ordained clergy become members of an order upon election to full membership and are to participate in the order.

If you have questions, please contact either Rev. Dean N. Prentiss (dprentiss@wesleypark.org) or Rev. Mary McInnes (maryagmcinnes@gmail.com).
