Hearing God’s Word Training: Part II

Last August, Brother Don, elder in the UMC, and Dr. Peggy, Certified Lay Minister in the UMC, taught Part I of what will be an ongoing series of teachings related to hearing and healing. In August, we discovered the biblical basis for hearing God starting with walks in the cool of the evening in the Garden of Eden, how the relationship became broken and then restored. We practice hearing God in a variety of ways. Don and Peggy were encouraged by the number of people who participated from a variety of churches as well as their positive response and desire to have us continue with this type of teaching.

Part II will review the biblical basis for hearing and provide a scriptural foundation for healing. Using the Five-Step prayer model from the International Association for Healing Rooms, we will practice listening to God as we pray for each other for healing.

Come join us whether you participated in Part I or not. Each training in this ongoing series will be a stand alone segment so attendance at every session is not required. If you did participate in August, please bring your packet of materials.

Part III topics are already determined though the date is not yet secured.
